Zumba

Zumba is a fun and energetic dance exercise that can be modified to meet any fitness level (standing or sitting). It combines cardio with dance moves that help you lose weight, tone your muscles, and improve your overall health. Zumba classes are taught by professional instructors who will make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.

The classes are structured around a set of moves that are either high energy or low-energy—depending on the instructor’s mood or the level of intensity needed by the class. The moves are danced to popular music, which can range from fast-tempo salsa to slow samba.

 

The high-energy sets include some of the more popular dances such as salsa and merengue. These sets tend to be more physically demanding than other classes because they require participants to move their bodies in time with the music. The low-energy classes include bachata and reggaeton, which focus more on the body’s core than its muscles.
